...I just realized I haven't posted a single drawing of Darius to DA yet. WHOOPS.

This has been basically done for quite some time (some of you may have seen the WIP shots posted on my art blog), it just needed a background and some finishing touches.

For those not in the know, Darius is *queenston's newest musical alias that kind of came about by accident. He was originally supposed to be my character, but Renard connected with him more and was instantly inspired to make music under the name. Talk about happy accidents, eh?

Wasn't Darius supposed to be Neutrois originally? Did that get changed? That was an aspect of the character I really liked, but now I only see them referred to by male pronouns.

I think Darius is null but he's refered to as male instead of 'it'... there's a bunch of info on the aliases here [link]

NULL (MALE-IDENTIFIED) just doesn't sound like an actual gender, for some reason. In my mind the terms are contradictory, and much more so than it would be if you were to put Female-Male or something else, since at least both of those are positive quantities and therefore might intersect. It reads like saying NOTHING (actually something). Probably just grammatical but slightly annoying, I dunno, if you're going to describe something outside of most people's understanding you should just strive for clarity I think.

Wow, I'm just telling you what I know, I didn't mean any harm...
It actually says on all of Darius' info that he's Null (male-identified). They way I see it that means he's genderless but has elected to be referred to as male. It might not be perfect grammar but that's how most people I know of see it.
