Shark number THREE for *Polarkeet's #SharkWeekSketchJam, the highly precious TIGER SHARK.

No, I really mean that. Tiger sharks have the cutest, boxiest noses ever, and always look remarkably shy or flustered.

They are also among the most misunderstood and feared, as they rank in second place behind the great white in fatal attacks on humans. Even so, attacks are an extremely rare phenomenon (three to four per year, and not often fatal) considering how many people swim per day, and you are still more likely to be struck by lighting.

The presence of tiger sharks is integral to the preservation of sea grass ecosystems, as they control the population of sea turtles and other animals that would otherwise overgraze the habitat into destruction.
